Up until 2010, Trek and Fisher have been separate bicycle lines.  However, over the years, Fisher bikes have not received the same attention as Trek bikes have received.  Hence, a "marriage" has taken place where Trek has added the "Gary Fisher Collection" to its line.  We think this partnership is a good thing, and we'll tell you why we think so.
 
Gary Fisher is one of the greatest innovators in bicycle design and his creative ideas are testament to this (e.g., 29er Bicycles, Genesis Geometry, Dual Sport Bicycles -- to name just a few).  These are all great ideas, and we know there will be more to come with this partnership.  We see Gary Fisher Bicycles becoming much stronger and more well-known.
